active dementia support

"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow;
don't walk behind me, I may not lead;
walk beside me and just be my friend"

Supporting people with dementia to remain active and connected to their families, friends and community is vital to the health and well-being of those people and the people who care for them.

I want to see these people having the choice to remain independent in their own homes with a "normal" lifestyle that requires as little intervention as possible, for as long as possible - this is my aim and this is where I feel I can help.
